How do I place my order online?
It’s quite simple really!
- Browse or Search through the site until you find the item(s) you wish to purchase.
- Once you’ve added all the items that you wish to purchase, you can begin the Checkout Process.
- This process involves 5 steps; Enter Details, Confirm Delivery Information, Delivery/Billing Information (Summary), Enter Payment Details and Complete Your Order.
- You will then receive an order confirmation email.

The delivery charges are displayed at the checkout page. Charges are determined by the cost of the Royal Mail signed for and tracked services which are linked live to the site. When will I receive my goods?
When digital downloads are purchased a download link will be delivered so that these products can be accessed immediately.
For chanter purchases delivery time will vary according to demand however we will aim to despatch the goods within 3 weeks of the order being received.
What to do if your shipment is late;
In the event that you shipment is late, please contact us via email.
All international orders will be shipped by Royal Mail. The Royal Mail tracking number can be emailed to you upon request..

All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.

We try to ensure that all images displayed on our website match the product as accurately as possible but cannot always guarantee an exact colour match to the product as displayed on your screen.
Receipts and Bills
We will e-mail you confirming that we have received your order. Any mistakes in billing or receipts will be corrected as soon as possible.
If an item is out of stock we will email you to let you know we can’t fulfil your order.
If we do not stock the product that you are looking for but we do stock the brand, there is a possibility that we may be able to order it in for you. In this situation, please email or phone us to discuss the availability.
Methods of Payment
We can only accept payment in pounds Sterling.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Delta and Solo. If you are paying by Maestro you will also need to include the card issue number or start date. All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the current rate and are correct at the time of input.
Some products contain some zero rated goods and the consolidated VAT rate is then reduced accordingly. We reserve the right to amend prices subject to change in the rate of duty. The total cost of your order is the price of the products including delivery charges.
All orders are positively credit card sanctioned prior to dispatch, so please ensure that the details you provide us with are correct. We cannot accept responsibility for an order being held back as a result of incorrect or invalid payment details being given.
In the unlikely event that your payment card is used fraudulently to make a purchase with Roddy MacLeod Bagpipes Ltd you, the consumer, are entitled to cancel the said payment(s). If payment has already been made, you, the customer, are entitled, in accordance with the standing Consumer Protection Distance Selling Regulation (2000), to a re-credit or to have all sums returned to you by the card issuer.
Under the United Kingdom’s Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased from Roddy MacLeod Bagpipes Ltd, for a full refund.
Order cancellations must be made via email, quoting your order number, within 7 working days of the day after you receive the goods to firstname.lastname@example.org To cancel your Standard Delivery Order please contact us email@example.com If however your order has already been processed, you will need to return the order to us. Please read the Return or Exchange an item section below.
In the event that your purchase is not suitable, you have the right to return it to us unused, preferably with the original packaging and labels. You must notify us in writing within 10 working days, by post, email or fax of your intention to do this. In this instance, you will be responsible for any return postage.
For European and International orders the charge will vary depending on the current cost of delivery to that country. For an accurate price, please contact us before returning your item.
Sorry, we cannot accept returns of videos, CD’s, DVDs, books or computer software where any seals have been broken.
When returning goods to us, we suggest that you use registered post or a guaranteed delivery service.
All refunds will be given as soon as possible, and will only be refunded onto the card used for the original purchase. At the very latest we will refund your money within 30 days from the day we receive your cancellation. In the case of incorrect ordering and undisclosed reasons for return, the customer will be expected to pay the return postage costs.
